Meet Kristina Snipes, DMD
Dr. Snipes and her husband David just welcomed a precious baby girl named Kate to the family! The Snipes love college football, spending time outdoors, and cooking out with family and friends. They also spend a lot of time with their first born, their beautiful lab named Sugar! Dr. Snipes is from Florence, South Carolina, graduated from Clemson University, and achieved her Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Snipes pursued a path in dentistry because of her desire to help others. Her favorite part about dentistry is that it combines science and art. She particularly enjoys restorative dentistry to make smiles functional and beautiful so her patients’ gain health and confidence! She has also completed continuing education in orthodontics to straighten teeth with clear aligner trays and removeable prosthodontics to make partials; dentures, and implant -supported dentures. Dr. Snipes also enjoys providing same day crowns; root canals, extractions and restoring implants. Her professional memberships include The Academy of General Dentistry, the South Carolina Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Snipes also enjoys using her clinical skills to help others in the community by volunteering at the North Charleston Free Clinic and Dental Access Days. She also enjoys mentoring pre-dental students through the South Carolina Dental Association. Dr. Snipes is involved with two local charities that are very near and dear to her heart. The first is Windwood Family Services, a home for neglected youth in Awendaw, South Carolina. The second is sponsoring and cheering on the golfers at Driving for Downs, a tournament that supports our incredible local community of children with Downs Syndrome.
